Our Story
Scenic City was founded in 2000 by a local family with a simple mission: provide dependable, professional septic and grease trap services to the growing communities of Gallatin Valley. Over the past 25+ years, that mission has remained the same.
Our commitment to professionalism, reliability, and service has not changed — and neither did our dedication to the community we call home. Today, Scenic City remains family owned and operated. Multiple family members work within the company, alongside a strong team of long-term employees. In fact, more than half of our staff has been with us for over 10 years.
That kind of longevity matters.

From a single-truck operation in 2000 to a fleet of 16 trucks with a combined hauling capacity of over 30,000 gallons, Scenic City has grown with Gallatin Valley — while staying rooted in family values and professional standards. We currently have the largest fleet hauling capacity in the state of Montana.
Honoring our Founder
Scenic City was founded in 2000 by husband and wife team John and Corinne Clark with a vision of building a dependable, professional service company for Gallatin Valley.
Our founder believed in doing the job right, treating customers fairly, and building a team that could be relied upon year after year. That foundation still guides us today.
After his unexpected passing in September 2021, his legacy lives on through the family and long-standing team members who continue to operate Scenic City with the same standards of professionalism and integrity.
